The country of Laos is situated in Southeast Asia, neighboring Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, and China.

Laos can be reached through flight connections from many South East Asian Capital Cities (Specially Bangkok and Singapore).The international airports in Laos are situated at Vientiane and Luang Prabang.

The official language of Laos is Lao, one of the Sino-Tibetan languages. French is also used in bureaucracy.
