Tobago, the “Robinson Crusoe’s Island” is located just off the coast of South America, next to its big sister island of Trinidad (Large Oil and Gas Reserves). Tobago is rich with green rain forest clad mountains, vibrant turquoise seas and a wealth of flora and fauna unseen on other neighbouring islands… this is what makes Tobago the rare unspoilt paradise destination that it is.

Tropical and unrivalled, There is only one description for it: luxuriant, pure and unspoilt. It lies in complete harmony with white sand beaches, idyllic bays, clear-blue seas, crystal clear waters, colorful, unspoilt coral reefs, unique undersea world, waving palms and tropical rainforest.

It is ideally proportioned: 41km in length and 11km wide. Year round sunshine, trade winds that provide cooling breezes. In short, a pleasant tropical climate.

Tobago is a leading destination for scuba diving, with the Buccoo Reef and its manta rays standing out, while to the east, the rainforest remains completely unspoiled. Scarborough is the capital of Tobago and on the island's southerly shoreline.

Because of its amazing wildlife, Tobago has been called 'The Galapagos of the West Indies'. Tobago is only 7 miles wide and has the oldest rainforest in the Western Hemisphere, and is the nesting place for the leatherback and hawksbill turtles.

The main tourist area on the island is around the Crown Point area next to the airport, it is on this southwestern tip that a traveller can relax on a white sand beach, swim in the clear blue waters of the Caribbean sea, dive in the spectacular coral reefs and enjoy the many tourism resources that the area has to offer.

And check out the capital of Tobago, Scarborough - see the hustle and bustle of local Tobagonian life... until Friday afternoon when the motor turns down a notch and starts chilling in readiness for the weekend.

Tobago is an island of festivals.... don't miss the carnival, the goat racing, the game fishing, the Blue Food Festival and of course the world famous Jazz festival, and there's still plenty to do - markets, historic fort and museum, take a guided tour into the rain forest reserve, see the Argyll Waterfall, game fishing is abundant, there's diving for beginners or the experienced and what a destination to dive - with over 300 species of coral, turtles, nurse sharks and manta rays, or go mountain biking, game fishing, Golfing, Sailing or Bird watching, see Turtles nesting on the beach at Pigeon Point and Buccoo Reef Speyside, little Tobago and Arnos Vale.

The year round warm and sunny climate makes Tobago a pefect destination for beach lovers or the adventurous alike.

With tropical temperatures, most tourists tend to prefer visiting in the high season - Mid December to mid April, avoiding the hotter summer season with its unforgiving sunshine and intense heat. At the end of May the rainy season begins and lasts up until November, although there is a brief window of fantastic weather in September.

Tobago's only airport, A.N.R.Robinson International Airport (TAB), previously known as Crown Point International Airport, is located on the south-western tip of the island, 8 miles from capital,Scarborough and is directly connected to some International Airlines.

Blue Waters Inn is a beachfront resort tucked away in its own secluded bay amongst 46 acres of lush tropical grounds. It is located in Batteaux Bay, Speyside, Tobago.
